IVY VOX BOX (Venus Swirl, Nubian Heritage, and More!)

For a couple of months now I have been actively reviewing products on Influenster, in hopes of receiving a Vox Box (A box full of complimentary items sent by Influenster for you to review!)

After a few months, I finally received my first box! (and as I mentioned I received these items absolutely free but all viewpoints expressed are my own)

It is called the Ivy Vox Box and is aimed at college age students. (Ivy League ;) )

In this box I received :

-Nubian African Black Soap

-Trolli Sour Brite Crawlers Minis

-7th Heaven Foot Soak and Foot Lotion

-New! Chapstick DUO with a snap! change rearrange fill-in

-Gillette Venus Swirl

The Nubian Black Soap:

I actually really liked this soap, I felt like it really got my face clean without leaving that weird tight feeling that comes when washing with a bar of soap. I love the way it smells, its kind of a fresh, organic clean smell. I also really like that the soap is black, because it makes it really easy to tell when you have washed it all off, leaving no extras.

The Trolli Sour Brite Crawler Minis:

I busted these out while I was writing a paper and they were definitely satisfying as a study snack, I love that they are crawlers (they aren't as long as normal gummy worms) and it makes them a non-messy sweet-tooth craving. They are the perfect blend of sweet and sour and there have been a few times I've almost gotten them at the gas station! I loved trying these :)

7th Heaven Foot Soak and Lotion:

As someone who works in retail, my feet are in pretty rough shape. I have dealt with sore arches and cracked heels and have tried foot peeling shoes, foot scrubs, etc. to try to keep my feet soft. I was really excited to try this foot soak because I have been pretty impressed with the 7th Heaven face masks. This did not disappoint! It has the nice refreshing grapefruit smell which is my absolute favorite. I love that it was a 2 step soak with the lotion included, I felt that it really added to the experience and helped lock the moisture in.

Chapstick DUO with Refill:

Basically, this chapstick is attempting to be EOS but with the dual flavor option. As with EOS it is a pretty impractical package to take with you on the go. For me, I feel that I would like the dual flavor in a stick for a little bit better. Basically the idea behind this is that it's a fun collect-all type gimmick. That being said, I definitely prefer this chapstick formula over EOS. The flavor comes through nicely, and it isn't as waxy as the EOS chapsticks tend to be. Even though I don't take this chapstick with me, I use it fairly frequently at my house and I think that is significant.

Gillette Venus Swirl:

Okay, so I have been with Dollar Shave Club for over a year now, and I haven't really tried any other razors. I love the convenience and the price, and the razor works well enough that I haven't though about changing; however, this razor kind of wrecked that for me, in a good way! This razor is seriously so smooth. It has a close shave but it is not harsh at all. With the Dollar Shave Club razor I have to be careful around my ankles or else I cut myself. The Gillette Venus Swirl was so smooth, and I was extremely impressed with how the razor worked around my ankles. Basically this razor made me question my subscription of over a year and if it did that, it must be pretty darn good.
